Now That’s A Big Turkey!

Yep, Turkey day or I should say Thanksgiving is next week. All just a bunch of Gobble-de-gook! Sorry, could resist. Neither will my stomach!

Well! With the Holidays now upon us, this is where the Stanton Elves shine. We get our roaster up and running to full speed to meet Santa’s needs.

We have brought in a limited supply of 100% Kona Coffee from Greenwell Farms. Nice and smooth with plenty of body. Slurrrp! Ahhh! Good stuff!

I finally finished the Universal Loader Project. This thing is fast and awesome. Cuts my loading time down to ¼ of what is used to be. Here are some more pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/stantoncoffee

We have also been working diligently on bringing in more Allied products. The next items coming in are some Mighty Leaf Teas and Harney & Sons Silken Sachets. I have been drinking so much tea that the folks up in Boston may dump me in the Bay! Mighty Leaf is a very premium Artisan-Crafted Whole Leaf Tea that also comes in a silken pouch.

I have also been working on the Independent Coffee.Org website. http://www.independentcoffee.org/
The goal is simple – Where Independent Coffee Businesses help each other. It started off as a local idea to focus more regionally to compete against the Corporate Chains. I could see the need for a central-common location for these Independents to meet up. With so many places online, we hope to draw in more people and regions to participate. We will expand and add regions as requested.

Mary is schedule to arrive back next week from Germany. We’ll give her a few days of rest to recover from jetlag. She says she’s excited to get back here to HQ and whip me back into shape. I think she thought I just road my go-kart all summer long. Nope I didn’t-Honest Mary! Wait till you see all the projects we accomplished. Especially the Training Room.
